; apply for another position, interviewed, not successful.
; apply for a third position, don't even get an interview.
Am I getting an increasingly unsubtle message somewhere here?

Mr D, Try not to let this defeat you, you are definately better than that. You know better than most that the knock backs do not always reflect the ability of the person who applied for the role.
reality check: You have shown great strength of character in the way you have responded to the set backs you have faced. you have held your head high and got on with the mundane, I know this is not an easy thing to do.
Believe me when i say you have a lot to offer; these roles were not the next step for you, you deserve better.
you have taught me a thing or 2 about leadership and I for one want to make sure you know i appreciate it.
